What a difference a year makes.
Associate Editor Nick Fondacaro and I compared the liberal media’s reactions to Joe Biden’s final State of the Union last year to Tuesday night’s address to Congress by President Trump and found a surprising change from fawnings (in the case of Ol’ Joe) to exhaustion.
Sure, they hated Trump’s speech, ranging from his policies to his showmanship with ordinary Americans. NBC denounced it “intensely partisan” while CBS called Republicans expressing scorn for the left’s hijinks “loud, visceral, [and] ugly.”
MSNBC was the only network to engage in outright meltdowns, including Nicolle Wallace’s ugly, vile smear linking child cancer patient and possible future police officer DJ Daniel with police officers who died by suicide after January 6, 2021.
But other than that, one got the sense they just wanted the day to be over.
Later, we dug into what The View has been up to this week. Thankfully, no one listened to their suggestion about how one should have protested President Trump.
