O'Donnell Gushes Over 'Truth-Telling Mission Of National Public Radio'

April 23rd, 2025 2:07 PM

If you were to sell your car and donate the money to charity, there are plenty of worthy organizations you could choose to support. However, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell had one less worthy organization in mind during Tuesday’s edition of The Last Word: NPR.

During a wider segment on Elon Musk and declining Tesla sales, O’Donnell gushed over the liberal outlet that may soon see its federal handout taken away:

A CNBC poll showed how that brand destruction in the United States has hurt Tesla's ability to sell to the very people who were the most enthusiastic customers for electric cars and Teslas. Liberal Democrats were the buyers, especially in California, that made Tesla a successful business and pushed the Tesla stock price up to the point where Elon Musk became the richest person in the world thanks to the buying power of liberals who are now trading in their Teslas, selling their Teslas, and, in many cases, just giving them away, as Sheryl Crow did in donating her Tesla to NPR for them to turn into cash to support the truth-telling mission of National Public Radio.

As NPR fights to retain its federal money, it has admitted its “truth-telling mission” did not apply to Hunter Biden’s laptop. One also has to wonder what defending looting has to do with truth-telling. NPR has also changed its tone on several months of its own reporting just so it could contradict President Trump when he echoed their phrasing. It has labeled the idea that COVID leaked from a lab “one of the biggest” pandemic-related conspiracies. One could go on, but this article has to end before it turns into a 1,000 page book.
