A lot of attention has recently been given to the highly negative characterizations and condemnations made of Donald Trump and his U.S. immigration policy positions by Univision anchor Jorge Ramos.
Not only has Ramos repeatedly called Trump “dangerous” and a “voice of hate,” but he has also taken it upon himself to tell Trump what he can and cannot do, such as telling Trump at a press conference that he “cannot build a wall” between the U.S. and Mexico.

But if you think Univision is home to the most sweeping, full-throated anti-Trump rhetoric on U.S. Spanish-language television, think again. That dubious honor has probably been better earned by Univision rival Azteca America, a Mexico-based network that beams a nightly newscast targeted to the U.S. that is also seen in many heavily Hispanic cities across the country.
But don’t just take our word for it. Take a look at the following video, which captures a series of recent on-air statements by Azteca anchor Roberto Ruiz and Washington correspondent Armando Guzmán, in which their utter contempt for Trump is on full display.
ARMANDO GUZMAN, WASHINGTON CORRESPONDENT: ...because ideologues like him can poison the mind of millions of people, including some Latinos.
ROBERTO RUIZ: ...common sense is something missing from the campaign and the head of Mr. Donald Trump.
ARMANDO GUZMAN: Now as you would already know, as in everything else, Trump is not telling the truth.
ROBERTO RUIZ, ANCHOR: Donald Trump was asked about the aggression, and of course with nothing in the head - air is what it has - this is what he said.
