Papers, Please! COVID Vax Mandate Not Enough: Big Tech Pushes Employees to Provide Vax Proof: Report

Big Tech tyranny knows no bounds. Big Tech companies have gone so far as to mandate COVID-19 vaccination for their employees, but now apparently even that isn’t enough. Some of those employees are being required to show proof.

Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Lyft, Uber and Twitter all now require employees to submit proof that they're vaccinated before coming to the office,” according to Protocol. The update in policy came after several Big Tech companies took steps to force employees to get vaccinations against COVID-19 just a month ago. Proof of vaccination was not initially required. In fact, “out of the four companies that had told Protocol they were requiring vaccines (Adobe, VMware, Twilio and Asana), only one — Asana — was requiring proof.”

The tech industry has seen at least 11 companies require vaccination for returning to work, according to a “living calendar” put out by Protocol. Companies requiring mandatory vaccination against COVID-19, according to Protocol, include: Adobe, Airtable, Asana, Google, Twilio, Pure Storage, Facebook, Microsoft, Uber and Lyft.

Tyrannical Big Tech mandates fall right in line with national leadership, as the Biden administration had reportedly considered the idea of “vaccine passports” but ultimately left verifying vaccination against COVID-19 to “the private sector and local governments, in part because of political sensitivities,” noted AP News. “Still, while more severe measures — such as mandating vaccines for interstate travel or changing how the federal government reimburses treatment for those who are unvaccinated and become ill with COVID-19 — have been discussed, the administration worried that they would be too polarizing at this time.”

Even still, the move to not only mandate vaccinations for COVID-19 but to require proof is unsurprising for Big Tech. Given the enormous amount of censorship the industry has employed against what the social media oligarchs consider to be misinformation, this latest move is par for the course.

Big Tech has been out in force, censoring Americans for even questioning a liberal narrative on nearly anything from COVID-19’s origins to mask or vaccine efficacy. Facebook, YouTube and Twitter silenced local government meetings and officials at least 15 times over roughly the last four months. Among those censored, YouTube removed at least four school board meetings for allegedly violating the platform’s “COVID-19 medical misinformation policy.” Facebook censored a Media Research Center post after so-called fact-checker PolitiFact rated it both “Partly False” and “FALSE” in the same absurd fact-check. The image in the censored post was a graphic first released by the Center for Disease Control on COVID-19 hospitalizations. YouTube also appeared to remove a video of Senator Rand Paul (R-KY). The senator said, “Apparently because I dared to contradict Dr. Fauci and the government YouTube removed my video.”

Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency, clarity on “hate speech” and equal footing for conservatives. If you have been censored, contact us at the CensorTrack contact form, and help us hold Big Tech accountable.
