Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo interviewed Media Research Center President David Bozell about an explosive new Media Research Center (MRC) special report exposing extreme left-wing bias on the Big Four News Apps, Apple, Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
According to MRC, during the highly effective U.S. military operations in Iran, the Big Four news apps promoted 634 left-leaning and anti-American stories compared to only 41 pro-American pieces.
Bozell emphasized that these platforms function as “America’s front pages,” delivering news directly to users’ phones and computers. Fifty-eight percent of Americans now say they get their news from at least one of these four apps, which collectively drive massive monthly traffic to left-leaning news websites.
Apple News, Google News, MSN and Yahoo News are like America's new front porches where the news is delivered directly to you via your device.

The apps aggressively pushed inflammatory headlines such as “Trump’s Iran threats look like self-incrimination for potential war crimes” and stories suggesting Trump’s removal via the 25th Amendment. Coverage was described as not only anti-Trump but decidedly anti-American military and anti-ally while American forces were engaged in an armed conflict.
Bozell and Bartiromo discussed how constant negative framing, selective story selection, and omission of context shape public opinion and polling far more than the policies themselves. Bartiromo noted that this toxic information environment can even shift the polls.

Bozell cited an example of Apple News amplifying a misleading claim by Sen. Chuck Schumer about Republicans blocking TSA funding to its 125 million readers, making it nearly impossible for Republicans to respond effectively in real time.
"Apple decided to pick up that political gem and stuff it down the throats of its 125 million users so the picture speaks 1,000 words," Bozell explained. "It's almost impossible for the Republicans to compete against that in the nanoseconds that requires and the next day the Republicans folded on that shutdown."
The segment raised serious concerns that tech-driven news aggregators heavily tilted coverage against America during a critical military conflict. The conversation continued when Bartiromo brought the issue up with her next guest, Rep. Tom Emmer.
