“Volume 720” of the Keith Olbermann completely-loses-his-mind “chronicles” is out, and in this episode, he nuked Elon Musk after the Twitter boss had banned the former ESPN powder keg for doxxing him.
Comparing Musk to the mob bosses in The Godfather, Olbermann appeared disheveled in a rant on his dog’s charity Twitter account. Olbermann read a statement that, in part, said:
What a friggin’ candy-ass, lying, hypocritical, self-contradicting, little, paranoid snowflake that “Apartheid Clyde” really is...It’s the baptism scene from the Godfather movie, and we all got wacked by Don Elon Muskleone...
Olbermann has in the past hypocritically demanded the Twitter banning of several people he hates. Now that it’s happened to him, it’s the greatest injustice ever.
On Thursday night, Musk drop-kicked six reporters whom were alleged to have been tracking him and posting them on social media. They included New York Times technology reporter Ryan Mac, Washington Post reporter Drew Harwell, Olbermann, former Vox reporter Aaron Rupar, CNN reporter Donie O’Sullivan and Mashable’s Matt Binder.
“Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not,” Musk wrote. “They posted my exact real-time location, basically assassination coordinates, in (obvious) direct violation of Twitter terms of service."
Fox News and former MRC Culture writer Gabriel Hays wrote: “Olbermann has regularly tweeted hostile posts about conservatives over the years and there didn't appear to be much sympathy over his forced temporary hiatus.”
Conservative author Dinesh D’Souza said “these rabid advocates of censorship only learn when they get a taste of it themselves. They are like bullies who back off when their own feet get stomped."
American Greatness author Tim Young called Thursday’s bans “a new day on the platform."
One of the best comments came from journalist Ian Miles Cheong, who said Keith Olbermann can now scream into an empty room.
On Sunday, Olbermann appeared on Countdown disavowing that he had done anything wrong and claiming to have been bullied by Musk: “I actually - IN PART - defend, and empathize with, Elon Musk. He was irresponsible to scapegoat all of us for something we neither caused nor influenced and that happened two days before any of us wrote or tweeted anything about.”
Nevertheless, people are well beyond tolerance for Olbermann’s vile bile. At least one platform has slammed the door shut in his face.
