Journalists’ efforts to sanitize President Biden’s scandals extend beyond what they do or don’t cover. Take, for example, the media’s use of the term “bombshell” to describe political scandals. Journalists almost never use this descriptor in reference to scandals which are politically damaging to Democrats. Meanwhile, they apply the term liberally when discussing Republicans.

Over the past day, CNN and MSNBC have gleefully brandished the mugshots of Donald Trump’s co-defendants like grim trophies for their audiences to gawk at.

A new Media Research Center study finds the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts focused 74% of their GOP campaign coverage on Donald Trump, with the remaining candidates forced to split the remaining airtime. Most TV coverage of Trump (90%) was negative, but the media also bashed his nearest challenger Ron DeSantis (78% negative).

Former President Donald Trump was arraigned for the third time on Thursday and the cable networks of MSNBC and CNN once again obsessed over the matter to the detriment of coverage of any other topic.

On the day that Devon Archer, a business associate and longtime friend of Hunter Biden, testified before the House Oversight committee, CNN and MSNBC instead flooded the airwaves with their favorite topic: Donald Trump. Between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. eastern, CNN and MSNBC made a combined 759 mentions of Donald Trump, while at the same time mentioning Devon Archer just 48 times.

According to NBC News, a “landmark study” by 27 “academic researchers” has concluded that conservatives in America are far more likely than their left-wing counterparts to consume news from untrustworthy sources. We’re all supposed to take this immensely seriously, but even a cursory look at the study reveals a host of embarrassing problems with the methodology.

The self-edit buttons are completely off when it comes to leftist journalists discussing GOPers like Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott.
