The New York Post had a juicy scoop Thursday about the newly formatted CBS Evening News – with new co-anchors John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois and fewer-but-more-in-depth stories – has been such a failure in just four weeks they’re crying uncle.

As Major Garrett’s report for the CBS Evening News proves, they also seem to believe that their viewers are morons.

Recently, NPR shamed President Donald Trump for pledging to rescue two stranded astronauts on the International Space Station because, according to them and despite months of their own reporting to the contrary, they are not stranded. Nonetheless, they are mustering a desperate response in hopes of saving the agency that embodies both the Deep State and the worst excesses of bloated government bureaucracy.
