If network news is to serve as a guide, it appears that the media have heeded the call.

A carefully elaborated media smear campaign, combining the worst elements of the Bork and Kavanaugh confirmation processes, crashed and burned. Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth appears to have bolstered his confirmation chances, and the media were not thrilled to report that.

While the liberal broadcast and cable networks largely behaved themselves Thursday in their coverage of the official state funeral for late former President Jimmy Carter, there were a few wacky exceptions with CNN using the fact that Carter’s FBI director is still alive to bash President-Elect Trump demanding change at the agency. The Regime Media are in mourning, in the wake of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s momentous announcement. Meta platforms are shifting off of fact-checking and censorship and are moving to community notes and more emphasis on free speech. 

As President Donald Trump prepares to enter into his second term, it is important to reacquaint ourselves with that media affliction known as Trump Derangement Syndrome. One of its classic symptoms is the urge to blame everything on Trump, This symptom was on clear display as the legacy media reported on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s decision to step down from his post.

The Regime Media went into full meltdown mode over the death of the 1500-page cromnibus bill that went down in flames once DOGE chairs Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy became aware of some of the bill’s provisions. D.C. media reacted at the very un-D.C. pressure placed upon the cromnibus with equal parts shock and horror.

At this stage, the motive of the Madison school shooter seems pretty clear, but the network news seems hesitant to report what it is. Of course, this generally means that the motive is inconvenient to prevailing leftwing narratives or identity politics. This case is not the exception.

Reasonable individuals may presume that the pro-abortion Regime Media may also be in support of hormonal and surgical mutilations of children, euphemistically known as “gender affirming care”. Network evening news coverage of yesterday’s Supreme Court hearing on this issue removes all doubt for anyone harboring these reasonable presumptions.

As the Regime Media array themselves against the Trump Cabinet, it has become crystal clear that Defense Secretary-Designate Pete Hegseth has become a prime target. With the Hunter Biden pardon rapidly fading from coverage, the disqualification attacks against Hegseth drew top billing.

We are on Day Two of the Capitol Hill Bathroom Cycle, which shows no sign of abating. CBS and NBC have now taken up the cause of the transgender member of Congress who is, as of today, NOT allowed to use women’s facilities due to being a biological male.
