CNN’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta appeared on The Late Show Tuesday to trash the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, with less than a week until the election. Gupta even agreed with Stephen Colbert that the president’s “plan” was to let millions of Americans die from the virus.

Stephen Colbert isn’t even trying to make you laugh anymore. The Late Night host has abandoned comedy for angry, unfunny verbal op-eds and harangues at his audience. On Wednesday night, he half yelled at his audience: “Now, full disclosure, I did not watch much of the convention tonight. And fullest disclosure, I did not watch any of it.”
