November 28th, 2011 8:27 AM
On Monday, Morning Joe's Mika Brzezinski had a hard time getting through the New Hampshire Union Leader's endorsement of Newt Gingrich for Republican presidential nominee without busting out laughing.
As the MSNBC co-host read Sunday's front-page editorial to viewers, her disdain was just as apparent as the giggles (video follows with commentary):

WaPo 'Right Turn' Blogger Trashes Conservative Media; Post Edits It Ha
November 28th, 2011 7:47 AM
The Washington Post selected Jennifer Rubin as their “Right Turn” blogger, which to many has seemed like the wrong title. It should be “Romney’s Turn.” But when the Post publishes her blogs in excerpted form in the newspaper, they’re making her even sharper in attacking the “hard right” of the Republican Party.
In Monday’s paper, Rubin lashed out at the New Hampshire Union Leader’s…

Vanity Fair Editor Calls Newt Gingrich a 'Big Baby
November 25th, 2011 1:31 PM
Now that he's frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination, Newt Gingrich must feel a sense of deja vu with all the attacks he's getting from liberal media members.
Keeping up his end Thursday was Vanity Fair's national editor Todd S. Purdum with a hit piece intelligently titled "Big Baby":

Gingrich Wins Over CNN for Not Being 'Negative Nasty Anti-Media' Newt
November 23rd, 2011 1:36 PM
CNN's Gloria Borger has been covering Newt Gingrich for decades. (I still recall her in 1989 calling him a "frisky chipmunk," as in he "resembles a frisky chipmunk scurrying from idea to idea and storing too many bad ones.") But Borger on Tuesday night concluded he had a good debate.
He was 'the good Newt, the smart Newt" and not the "negative nasty anti-media...Newt." It's true that Gingrich…

Searching In Vain for the Perfect Candidate
November 22nd, 2011 8:30 AM
Now it's Newt's turn. Having risen to the top in some opinion polls, the former speaker of the House is taking heat for large consulting fees paid to him by the government-sponsored mortgage company Freddie Mac for wisdom a New York Times editorial said was so simplistic it might have come from a fortune cookie.
As Republican presidential candidates rise only to fall when their imperfections…

Because you probably don't pay much attention to Newsweek or the Daily Beast, you likely didn't know former Clinton adviser Paul Begala is now a columnist for the combination of these failing so-called news organizations.
Demonstrating exactly why the merger of these two perilously liberal outlets appears to be a financial bust, and why he fits in so perfectly, Begala on Monday published a…

It wasn't merely Mika's words: "arrogant, disgusting, sickened." So strongly ran Brzezinski's rage…
