Reid says: "we know racially-polarized voting is a real thing and people will say they will vote for Oprah until she is on the ballot."

ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel was next in line to assist former First Lady Michelle Obama in promoting her new memoir. On Thursday night’s show, the liberal host used that opportunity to beg Obama to convince her husband to enter politics again, comparing him to Superman and President Trump to his evil arch nemesis, Lex Luthor.

On Thursday, before conducting an exclusive live interview with former First Lady Michelle Obama, Today show host Savannah Guthrie enthusiastically reported on Mrs. Obama’s “work inspiring others” being “far from over” as she launched a get out the vote effort to help Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.  

During an exclusive live interview with Michelle Obama on Thursday’s Today show, co-host Savannah Guthrie touted the former First Lady’s “famous” motto of “When they go low, we go high.” However, the NBC anchor then highlighted other prominent Democrats recently calling for the party to abandon any pretense of civility when attacking Republicans and wondered if Obama’s saying “still stands.”

The portrayal of former First Lady Michelle Obama’s current #WhenWeAllVote tour as some kind of civic, non-partisan voter education drive, in news coverage by media outlets like Univision, is about as deceptive and dishonest as it can be.
