Monday, the networks finally noticed the resignation of Democrat representative from California, Katie Hill, after nude photos were leaked of her online revealing she had an affair with one of her female staffers. On ABC’s Good Morning America Tuesday, the network shamelessly defended the Democrat, blaming sexism and “double standards” for women caught in sex scandals.  

On Monday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell and her liberal journalist guests lamented the resignation of Democratic Party “rising star” and California Congresswoman Katie Hill amid a bizarre sex scandal. The discussion portrayed the liberal lawmaker as the victim of a “double standard” and even a “crime.”
