On Tuesday night, CNN announced that they will be boycotting Friday’s annual White House Christmas party between the Trump administration and the news media, blaming President Trump’s “continued attacks on freedom of the press and CNN” to skip the event. Politico had the story first just before 6:30 p.m. Eastern, citing a quote from a CNN spokesperson.
