Longtime Conservative Leader Amy Ridenour Passes Away

Conservative leader Amy Ridenour, the chairwoman of the National Center for Public Policy Research, passed away over the weekend after a long battle with cancer. Ridenour, who also contributed to NewsBusters, founded the National Center in 1982 as a “communications and research foundation supportive of a strong national defense and dedicated to providing free market solutions.”

An attorney for the National Center for Public Policy Research, speaking yesterday at Comcast's annual shareholder meeting, demanded an on-air correction and apology for defamatory claims by MSNBC's Rachel Maddow.
