"There's no question, this was a deliberate breach of journalistic ethics," Media Research Center founder and president Brent Bozell told Fox Business Network substitute anchor Tom Sullivan on the May 18 edition of Varney & Co., referring to ABC's George Stephanopoulos's $75,000 in donations to Clinton Foundation charities.
"He knew when he gave it that he was conflicted," Bozell added. And, what's more, "He knew when he was tasked with interviewing Peter Schweizer, who wrote the tell-all book on the Clinton initiative, he knew he had no right to do that, and yet he savaged him on national television."
On top of that, Bozell argued, ABC News is "giving the middle finger to America" by "not caring" that Stephanopoulos has engaged in gross journalistic malpractice.
