Just hours after suggesting on MSNBC's Morning Joe that Hillary Clinton’s private email server as Secretary of State was no big deal – probably just “wedding stuff” – Nicolle Wallace grew more offended by it on ABC’s The View, although she predicted the Clintons will blame Republicans and the media and just “roll on.”
NICOLLE WALLACE: On the Hillary beat, just two quick points, One, there was a law that required her to send her official diplomatic correspondence through a State department dot gov e-mail account. She did break the law, not just the spirit of the feeling of it.
STACY LONDON, guest co-host: Didn’t she install a server? She installed it. It wasn't there.
WALLACE: ....So she broke the law, but here's the other thing about the Clintons. It's what they do! It's how they roll! And nobody cares. So I think you know, the media, my friends in journalism, my friends in news have their hair on fire. The media elites are going to talk about this for weeks. The Clintons are going to do what they always do, gonna blame it on two people that somehow always end up being responsible in the public’s eye -- Republicans and the media – and the Clintons will roll on.
Whoopi Goldberg tried to suggest that maybe the State Department was too busy to fix this problem, but ended up more critical: “I think they'll probably have to go through them, because if she's sending like Petraeus very sensitive information through her personal server, I kind of think that's kind of dopey and they'll figure it out and she'll say, too bad.”
