On Sunday, June 22, ABC’s Good Morning America gushed over a photo of musician Katy Perry taking a photo with Hillary Clinton at a book signing for Clinton’s book “Hard Choices.”
ABC’s Sara Haines gushed at the Instagram photo of Ms. Clinton and Katy Perry and hyped how Perry “Was excited enough to share this Instagram photo with fans and even wrote a message saying, “I told Hillary Clinton that I would write her a theme song if she needs it. But I think "Roar" will do.” [See video below.]
After Haines heaped praise over the photo between Perry and Clinton, GMA co-host Bianna Golodryga beamed at the two and commented that the picture “Might be the tipping point. Once Hillary gets an offer like that, she may just throw her hat in the ring.” Haines continued to pile on the cheerleading by proclaiming “At that point, I would run. I get a theme song? Come on."
ABC seems content running pro-Hillary puff pieces about the former First Lady taking photos with rock stars rather than inform its audience that as a lawyer she once helped defend a rapist and even laughed at getting him a lenient sentence.

SARA HAINES: And a major case of girl power at Hillary Clinton's latest book signing. Look who stopped by the reception before her event in Los Angeles. Yep, that's Katy Perry. She was excited enough to share this Instagram photo with fans and even wrote a message saying, “I told Hillary Clinton that I would write her a theme song if she needs it. But I think "Roar" will do.”
BIANNA GOLODRYGA: I agree.
HAINES: Don't you agree?
GOLODRYGA: That might be the tipping point. Once Hillary gets an offer like that, she may just throw her hat in the ring.
HAINES: At that point, I would run. I get a theme song? Come on.
