What is it about abortions that really excite people in Hollywood?
Take Sarah Silverman and Zach Galifianakis who are headlining a benefit program Sunday called "A Night of a Thousand Vaginas," the proceeds of which are going to various Texas abortion funds.
News of this outrage first broke last Tuesday at NME:
Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is set to take part in an event called A Night Of A Thousand Vaginas.
The evening is being put on by reproductive rights group A Is For and will raise money for the Texas Abortion Fund. A Night Of A Thousand Vaginas will take place at the Largo comedy theatre in Los Angeles on January 19. The event will be hosted by Parks and Recreation actress Retta and comedy writer Laura Kightlinger and will also see appearances from comedians Zach Galifianakis, Sarah Silverman, Steve Agee, Jen Kirkman and Tiffany Haddish.

A Is For serves as an ally and advocate for organizations working to protect reproductive rights; we are a unifying forum utilizing social media to spotlight issues and encourage activism. A is for All of us.
As for Sunday's event, Townhall reported last Wednesday:
Sadly, despite the less-than-classy title and tickets upwards of $100, the event has already sold out.
Just the fact that Silverman’s name is on the marquee should be enough to turn away any mature person. The “comedian” seems to thrive on using her lady parts for humor. In November, she hosted a pro-choice Texas telethon along with co-creator of The Daily Show Lizz Winstead. That event featured vagina costumes, filthy language and just plain vulgar gestures.
But, with all the flashiness and crude humor these pro-choice events engender, their “charity” is anything but funny. Abortion is not a cause and it is not to be celebrated. It certainly should not stand as a means for a fundraiser.
Indeed.
What type of soulless character actually feels pride in raising money for women to abort their babies?
Consider the mission of the Lilith Fund, one of the organizations that will benefit from Sunday's event:
The Lilith Fund believes in reproductive equity. The right to choose an abortion is meaningless without access to abortion services. Restrictions on abortion access and funding are discriminatory because they especially burden low-income patients. We oppose all efforts to restrict abortion rights and are committed to fighting for access to abortion.
That last line is chilling, for it means this fund is opposed to restrictions on third term abortions which any sane person must conclude is indeed infanticide.
Would the folks at the Lilith Fund also oppose restrictions on abortion clinics such as the one operated by convicted murderer Kermit Gosnell?
Have people in Hollywood such as Silverman and Galifianakis even heard of Gosnell? Do they support unrestricted third term abortions even when potentially harmful to the mother?
Or is the cause more important than the inconvenient consequences?
