A viewer emailed a question to MSNBC’s Ed Schultz Thursday asking, “If Rush Limbaugh ever got the GOP nomination for president, would you run against him?”
“Absolutely not,” Schultz arrogantly answered. “Give me some competition, dude” (video follows with transcript and commentary):
ED SCHULTZ: Absolutely not, but I sure pray that he does run for president. It would be an easy takedown, believe me. Give me some competition, dude. Come on.
Pretty telling, isn’t it?
In Schultz’s view, Limbaugh “would be an easy takedown.” Yet he absolutely wouldn’t run against the far more popular conservative talk show host.
Sounds like something a preschooler would say on a playground, doesn’t it?
