Since the Huffington Post was first launched, NewsBusters has been warning people to skeptically view anything published by the disturbingly liberal website.
President Obama somewhat agrees, for according to The Hill, he told House Democrats he met with Wednesday "not to believe everything you read in The Huffington Post."
The President was apparently taking issue with the Post's recent attacks on former Treasury secretary Lawrence Summers.
Liberal outfits such as the Post are pushing for Janet Yellin, the current vice chairman of the Federal Reserve, to replace Ben Bernanke as chairman.
As such organizations are want to do, they've been filling the air and printwaves with criticism of Summers who is clearly on Obama's short list.
During his meeting with House Democrats Wednesday, the President defended Summers from this criticism.
Zach Carter, the Post's senior political economy reporter, somewhat confirmed Obama's comments via Twitter Wednesday (HT Business Insider):
Hill source: Obama attacked @HuffingtonPost in Dem caucus meeting for making Larry Summers "progressive whipping boy."

Now THAT'S entertainment!
