The dissing of Mitt Romney by America's Obama-loving media knows no bounds.
On CBS's Late Show Friday, Billy Crystal showed up with a picture of Romney with the mouth cut out and proceeded to ridicule the Republican presidential nominee with the assistance of host David Letterman (video follows with transcript and commentary):
DAVID LETTERMAN, HOST: So, but we still want the guy on, but I don’t know. Now I have…
BILL CRYSTAL: Dave, no, I brought him on.
LETTERMAN: What?
CRYSTAL: If Mitt Romney won't come on, you can ask me whatever you want.
LETTERMAN: Let me see what this is here.
[Crystal takes out picture of Romney with cut-out mouth, puts it over his face]
[Laughter, applause]
LETTERMAN: Whoa! Whoa!
CRYSTAL: You know, Dave?
LETTERMAN: Wow, I gotta get one of these, yeah. Holy moly.
CRYSTAL: 716 billion right out of Medicare. That would affect you, wouldn't it?
LETTERMAN: I'd like to get one of those for the house. Now let me ask you a question.
CRYSTAL: Okay.
LETTERMAN: What do you think would be the hardest thing about being president?
CRYSTAL: For me, moving into a smaller house. [Laughter] But Dave, this president, this president doesn't get it. He doesn't get it, this president. We, why do I sound like Regis back here?
LETTERMAN: It's all right.
CRYSTAL: We have to downsize. I'm downsizing like most Americans have to. I have five boys. I'm downsizing to three. Two of them are going to the Caymans to watch my loot.
LETTERMAN: Loot.
CRYSTAL: I got a smaller plane. Here's my plane.
[Picture comes on screen with one plane on top of a larger one]
CRYSTAL: The one on top. The one on top, I had strapped to the top. That's Ann's plane. [Laughter] This shirt I'm wearing is from Costco. It feels real good. Feels real good.
LETTERMAN: It looks good.
CRYSTAL: We got to take a picture. Take a picture. Come on.
LETTERMAN: Can we have a? Alright. Excuse me. There we go. Oh, that's a beauty. Wow, is that beyond creepy.
CRYSTAL: It’s creepy.
This came moments after Crystal compared Romney to the husband in a Cialis commercial: "He's good looking and he's not really potent."
Earlier in the program, Letterman called Romney "a felon" saying "the man hasn't paid a nickel in United States federal income tax."
They sure do pay a lot of respect to the Republican presidential nominee on this show, don't they?
