The elitist media are turning up the hate rhetoric the closer we get to the midterms.
MS NOW’s Rachel Maddow claimed President Donald Trump was “intervening” to make sure an “AI Apocalypse” will “kill” us all. Her MS NOW colleague Joe Scarborough predicted that “our grandchildren” will look back at Trump’s ICE agents the same way we looked at “internment camps in World War II.” The New York Times’ Michelle Cottle actually blamed Trump in the Cornell rape case.
This past month we also saw Hollyweird types spew ugliness at Trump. CBS’s The Big Bang Theory producer Chuck Lorre told a crowd at a Los Angeles charity awards show: “I wake up every morning to turn on CNN to see if the President of the United States had a heart attack while straining to take a dump.” How charitable!
Meanwhile, Hollyweird actors Robert De Niro and Mark Ruffalo ranted and raved at Trump to keep his “f***ing hands off our vote!”
The following are the most obnoxious outbursts from leftist journalists and celebrities over the last month:
Rachel Maddow: Trump Is Ensuring that AI Can Kill Us All
Rachel Maddow tells Seth Meyers that Trump is "an authoritarian guy. He's Blond Berlusconi" and that he's gonna get us all killed "So, it's like been hard, I think, to imagine, 'How is it that the A.I. Apocalypse would happen?' 'How is it that A.I. Might kill us?' Well, the… pic.twitter.com/hFXpl3FMOj

“So, Trump moved explicitly to make sure no human can interfere with robots’ ability to kill us. So, it’s, like, been hard, I think, to imagine, ‘How is it that the A.I. Apocalypse would happen?’ ‘How is it that A.I. might kill us?’ Well, the really easy thing to imagine is them using military weapons to kill us, and Trump is intervening to make sure they can.”
— MS NOW host Rachel Maddow on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, September 29.
New York Times’s Michelle Cottle Blames Trump in Cornell Rape Case
“We can go to the President for this one.” On @ThisWeekABC, @mcottle of NY Times blames Trump for Cornell incident:

“We can go to the president for this one. I mean, we are in a moment in this culture where the glorification of being thuggish and swaggering and mistreating women is kind of making you a cool kid.”
— New York Times Opinion writer Michelle Cottle discussing Cornell University rape case as aired on ABC’s This Week, October 4.
Joe Scarborough: “Our Grandchildren” Will Look Back at ICE Agents the Same Way We Looked at “Internment Camps in WWII”...
Joe Scarborough followed with a rant against ICE agents and clamored for criminal prosecutions, as he said, “They will pay for the laws they've broken.” Mika Brzezinski then stated, “Pardons only cover so much.”
Scarborough also said history will look back at ICE in “the same… https://t.co/nEanJ2LX9n pic.twitter.com/gpnDjbMHy2— Nick (@nspin310) September 15, 2026
“They [ICE agents] will pay for the laws they’ve broken….I think historians will look back, and our grandchildren, children and grandchildren will read this the same way we read about the internment camps during World War II.”
— Co-host Joe Scarborough on MS NOW’s Morning Joe, September 15.
...“Dehumanization” From the White House Leading to Fathers, Mothers, Church Members and Children to “Be Beaten”
And, of course, Joe Scarborough connected the Daniel Penny case to the “dehumanization coming from the White House and politicians” and said it was “what allows our fathers, our mothers, our workers, our church members to be beaten, to be battered, to be thrown in concentration… https://t.co/8zVfrRkC1y pic.twitter.com/NXzrDItAgv

“That dehumanization coming from the White House, coming from politicians, is what allows our fathers, our mothers, our workers, our church members to be beaten, to be battered, to be thrown in concentration camps. I’m sorry, not concentration camps, internment centers. To have children thrown in internment centers.”
— Co-host Joe Scarborough on MS NOW’s Morning Joe, September 28.
Mara Gay: This Isn’t About Border Security, It’s About “Keeping America White”

“I think that there’s also just a dawning awareness that this is not about border security at all. This is not about border security. This is about keeping America white. And this is about cruelty. And this is about, I think, lawlessness.”
— New York Times Opinion staff writer Mara Gay on MS NOW’s Morning Joe, September 25.
Laura Barron Lopez’s Loaded Questions On Trump’s “Authoritarianism”

“Mayor, to you first, what’s your response to President Trump banning outlets from the White House grounds? Did you challenge him at all about this in your meeting with him? Historians and legal scholars have called it textbook authoritarianism. And Mr. President, are you banning outlets like MS NOW, CNN and Politico in order to distract from the Iran war and high gas prices?”
— MS NOW correspondent Laura Barron Lopez’s questions to President Donald Trump and Mayor Zohran Mamdani at joint press conference, September 21.
Trump TV is “Reminiscent of What You Would Find in North Korea”
“TrumpTV has so far aired Trump’s inauguration, his new helipad dedication, which, by the way, because there was no pool and no audio, right? His speech to the UN. “TrumpTV has so far aired Trump’s inauguration, his new helipad dedication, which, by the way, because there was no pool and no audio, right? His speech to the UN. It’s a weird sort of form of state TV. I mean, right now, with everything going on, people want to rewatch his inauguration? It’s kind of reminiscent of what you would find in North Korea.” — Host Erin Burnett on CNN’s Erin Burnett Outfront, September 22.
Brian Stelter Whines About His Leftist Cronies at CNN, MS NOW, Politico Being Temporarily Displaced from White House Press Room
“There’s an old saying….that press freedom is your freedom….What are we going through in America? We’re going through a situation where we’re seeing examples of democratic backsliding. Yes, this is a democracy, but there are times it’s been a healthier democracy. Backsliding is real, and scholars who study autocratic behavior say they see it happening every day, coming out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. So, right now, the last week or so, we’ve seen it again very clearly. The American press is in a fight to protect its fundamental rights.”
— CNN media analyst Brian Stelter discussing removal of CNN, MS NOW and Politico from White House press room, as aired on CNN’s Inside Politics with Dana Bash, September 24.
Trump “Taking a Page” from China’s Dictator Xi Jinping
“In the next several days, the president is going to host China’s president XI Jinping at the White House. China, of course, the president of China, Xi Jinping, who President Trump has shared openly his admiration for China, a country that has a long history of repressing independent thinkers. The press, broadly, it just does not exist. So, it’s notable that as the president welcomes XI here, he’s sort of taking a page from Xi Jinping and from China here. You’ve studied authoritarian leaders. Is this what the president is, is sort of trying to replicate?”
— Host Peter Alexander to Rachel Maddow on MS NOW’s State of Play, September 19.
Chris Matthews: Trump’s Best Friends Are Communists
On the Joe show, Chris Matthews goes on a strange bender about communists after touting Democrat hopes of retaking the Senate:

“Now look at Trump. Look who’s guilty of that. His best friends in the world are China and North Korea. His friends are communists.”

“Well, the deranged depravity of Donald Trump has delivered more degradation to this country than any other person in our history has come close to delivering. Donald Trump is the champion of American degradation, and there is no other single individual in our history who we can point to who has visited such overwhelming degradation on this country. Not even close! There isn’t a close second.”
— Host Lawrence O’Donnell on MS NOW’s The Last Word, September 16.
Katy Tur Twists Trump’s Words: Why Would He Say It’s Totally Worth It to Let 16 Million Americans Die?
Another former NBC reporter on MS NOW, Katy Tur, joined in on the Trump bashing and, again, lied and implied that Trump wanted Iran to “go ahead” and bomb Los Angeles and San Diego. https://t.co/2phlUTOgGS pic.twitter.com/EKnM76ffWl
— Nick (@nspin310) October 6, 2026
“What he did last night was different, even for him. He told thousands of Nebraskans that Iran has the capability to bomb an American city and then told them, go ahead, quote, ‘let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego.’ This is a very small price to pay. That’s verbatim. The metropolitan area of San Diego has a population of 3.3 million. Los Angeles? 12.9. That is 16 million people that the president just cast aside…Why would he do that? What does he get out of all but saying it’s totally worth it to let 16 million Americans die?”
— Host Katy Tur on MS NOW’s The Moment with Katy Tur, October 6.

Very reassuring. Not. On @MeetThePress, @kwelkernbc reported Abdul El-Sayed is not a communist because he told her he’s a capitalist: “Someone who President Trump, by the way, is trying to argue is a communist. Co-host Sunny Hostin: “The insanity defense has been around in Massachusetts for 182 years, so I think it’s well established. And I thought absolutely that she [Lindsay Clancy] was not criminally responsible by reason of insanity. And the reason I felt that – I feel so strongly about this holdout juror is because I was a holdout juror in a case, in the Daniel Rakowitz case. I don’t know if people remember it, The Butcher of Tompkins Square Park. It was in 199-”
Co-host Joy Behar: “The guy who ate the victims?”
Hostin: “Yes!..He did not mean to kill her, and once he killed her, he panicked. He chopped up her body parts, yes, boiled her body parts, tried to commit the perfect crime, and then fed – ”
