The liberal ladies of ABC’s “bona fide news program” The View clutched their pearls on Monday in reaction to President Trump banning journalists from CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House. “Can you imagine if Obama had done this,” they shouted. However, we don’t have to imagine it because he did do that; and during the Biden administration, The View cast wanted Fox News shutdown and all their employees prosecuted for “recruiting domestic terrorists.”
Proclaiming that what she was about to say was “not hyperbolic,” Navarro insisted that what Trump was doing was “what communist dictators exactly do in places like North Korea and Cuba and Nicaragua and Venezuela. They censor and shut down the free press[.]”
She would go on to lead the show in once again violating ABC’s broadcast license by electioneering, and telling their audience to vote for candidates who would oppose Trump:
So, we all as Americans need to stand up to this bully and we have a chance to do it in 40-some days when there is an election. You want accountability? You want pushback from this government? Vote somebody that is cape -- in that is capable of doing -- holding Donald Trump accountable for his abuses of power.

Scoffing at Trump pointing out how the media was biased against him, moderator Whoopi Goldberg ridiculously claimed the media was “biased against the Democrats.” “[T]his is not new. People have been saying, you know, the press has been bias. First it was biased against the Democrats, then it was biased against the Republicans, and then it was fake news,” she huffed.
Co-host Sunny Hostin proclaimed “I’m very proud of this network [ABC]” for taking part in the White House press pool boycott of administration events in response to the banning. Despite the fact that there was still plenty of other reporters (including anti-Trump ones) in the White House, Hostin suggested that the ban was about keeping something nefarious at the White House hidden:
Like, I don't understand what is happening inside of the White House that he doesn't want us to know about. That is one of the things. Like, this is -- this is giving dictatorships because as you said, Ana, this what happens with dictators. What is he trying to hide from the American people? Why doesn’t he want the reporters there?
“I don't know that he's trying to hide he just doesn't want anything that's remotely critical,” Navarro tried to wave her off.
What they could agree on was what the outrage might have been if President Obama had done this to Fox News:

HOSTIN: Can you imagine if Obama had done this?!
NAVARRO: - ‘imagine if I had done this. Imagine if I had kicked out Fox News and he said, and I quote, ‘It is absurd that the same people standing silent now would have tolerated this behavior from me or any of my predecessors.’ Silence is complicity!

“And by the way, an Obama official at the Treasury Department, when he was in power, did block Fox News from covering an event and very quickly the press banded together and they reversed the decision,” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin reminded them.
The View was once again lying and trying to gaslight their audience? No way!
Not only did Obama 100 percent try to ban Fox News from the press pool, he tried to send then-Fox News correspondent James Rosen to prison.
Prison was exactly where The View demanded the Biden administration send Fox News reporters in 2023. Goldberg and Hostin wanted Fox employees locked up for supposedly “radicalizing” their audience with lies and “recruiting domestic terrorists”:
GOLDBERG: How come this is not thought of as being recruiting? How come they’re not thinking about this as radicalizing?
HOSTIN: Like recruiting domestic terrorists?
GOLDBERG: Why is this not being scrutinized in the way that they scrutinize other things? Because to me this should be against the law. You should not be able to lie to the American -- knowingly.

At the same time, Hostin also wanted Fox banned from being shown on military bases because “white supremacists have infiltrated all the armed forces.”
Back on Monday, Goldberg ended the segment with a little more electioneering. “We’re, you know, we see what's happening. We know what we have to do,” she said. “It is in all of our best interest to right this ship.”

They all got together and said, ‘We will not provide replacement pool coverage which means we will not cover any White House events.’ Trump loves being on television!
