Ex-CNN Host Don Lemon Uncorks TikTok Tantrum Over Trump as TIME 'Person of the Year'

Lindsey Kornick at Fox News reports former CNN host Don Lemon insulted Time magazine as a "joke" after they felt forced to choose President-elect Donald Trump as their Person of the Year.

Lemon hosted a TikTok Live segment where he sounded like he was still hosting at CNN, lamenting that Time was taking a stand against democracy....by sadly acknowledging that Trump solidly won an election, despite every lefty claiming he would end democracy.

How quickly Lemon forgets! Time is the magazine who touted "The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election." They touted how the Left "fortified" democracy against Trump.

Like many, Lemon thinks this is some sort of honor or prize instead of choosing the year's biggest newsmaker, with the most impact.

"God, I'm sure he loves this, right?" he said. "If they wanted to make someone Person of the Year, I don’t know, they could’ve done it with any person. They could have done it to someone who actually stood for democracy, who stands for democracy in the country," Lemon said.

Time magazine has chosen the winner of the presidential election as Person of the Year in every election year since 2000, including Trump in 2016. 

"Time magazine, what are you doing? Let me ask you, Time magazine, what would you say to those women who I guess still read Time magazine?" Lemon asked. He suggested some women were probably named to the "Time 100" influencers list for dealing with sex discrimination.

"You have someone on the cover of your magazine who is an adjudicated assaulter," he continued. "You have someone who inspired an insurrection. You have someone who, without a doubt, the evidence is there, tried to overturn a free and fair election. You had someone who had multiple criminal accounts and was found guilty on multiple criminal counts. And you name them Person of The Year."

Lemon concluded with more disbelief: "Is this a joke? Did we get something wrong? Did someone scam us? Are we sure about this, producers? There is a convicted felon on the cover of Time magazine as the Person of the Year. Maybe we're being scammed. Did someone put out a fake tweet or something about this?"
