During the panel portion of the most recent broadcast of CNN State of the Union, conservative commentator Scott Jennings absolutely unloaded on the Biden administration over their duplicity with regard to the pardon of Hunter Biden, and called the media out over their seeming unwillingness to hold The White House accountable.
Watch as Jennings nukes Biden from orbit:

SCOTT JENNINGS: It was a total disgrace. (Biden’s) leaving office in disgrace because of this pardon. And it's not just the pardon, it's the lying. Lie to the American people. According to NBC News, he and his top aides hatched a plan to lie to the American people. And then this week, he didn't even have the guts to go out to the White House podium and take questions about it. He sent Karine Jean-Pierre out there, who was also a part of the lying, and then she continued to gaslight the American people in the media. The American people ought to be pissed, but the media, the people who cover this White House, ought to be absolutely livid at the gaslighting. And then the continued gaslighting and the hostility towards the idea of transparency. This is a monumental disgrace. You think 38, 39% job approval is low? Wait until we test him as he leaves office. He's going out of office as one of the least liked and most divisive presidents we’ve ever had.
What would the media’s reaction have been had a pardon under similar circumstances been issued from Donald Trump to Don, Jr.? We’d be talking DEFCON One across the dial, with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in front of every cable news camera, calling for impeachment. But Hunter? Things are (D)ifferentl, you see. In light of the pardon of Hunter Biden, media reaction has been…muted at best, sycophantic at worst.
Jennings rightly calls out this hypocrisy, as well as the hypocrisy and lack of transparency shown by the Biden White House, both with the Hunter pardon and with the prospective pardons of Anthony Fauce and members of the House January 6th Committee.
The rest of the Biden panel’s Biden apologia ranged from “a father’s love” to “circumstances have changed”, even though Obama apparatchik David Plouffe admitted that the Biden/Harris campaigns never led in their own internal polling. If that was the case, then Biden vowed not to pardon Hunter despite knowing he was on track to lose the election. Circumstances never changed.
Jennings is right to call out the gaslighting and dishonesty, even if the rest of the panel (and the Regime Media) seem to be fine with it.
