On Friday, MSNBC’s Morning Joe hosts doubled down on their flagrant lies they promoted along with Democratic Congressman Dan Goldman (D-NY) about Hunter Biden’s business partner, Devon Archer.
They claimed that now, with the transcript of the testimony released, that Goldman was correct, and later lamented that other networks were treating the Biden investigation as “equal” to the indictments against Donald Trump.
Co-host Mika Brzezinski opened:
But as we learned from Democratic committee member Dan Goldman, Archer may have actually contradicted [Chairman James] Comer's [R-KY] point. And yesterday, the transcript of that closed door interview was released, confirming Goldman's account. It turns out Archer told the House Oversight Committee that he has no knowledge of Joe Biden altering policy to benefit Hunter. Archer also said he was present for roughly 20 instances of Hunter putting his father on speakerphone in the presence of business associates. Archer said none of the conversations focused on business and that they talked about things like fishing and the weather.
This was one more massive spin to cover up their previous claims about the testimony before the transcript was released. Brzezinski’s dishonesty was shown by the fact that Archer did mention the weather and fishing, but the issue was that he was selling the Biden brand. Archer in the transcript stated that “I think ‘brand’ is the best way to describe it.” This completely dismantled MSNBC’s prior narrative of the “illusion of access” being sold as opposed to actual access to Biden. When the transcript was released, co-host Joe Scarborough and Brzezinski must have panicked and decided the only way to proceed without losing all credibility was to keep up the charade and hope no one noticed any other network’s coverage of the it or read the transcript themselves.
Unfortunately for MSNBC, their perfidiousness was laid bare not only by House Republicans and right-leaning networks like Fox News, but also by their fellow liberal network CBS. Astonishingly, the mainstream left-wing network actually called out Goldman for his lies about the content of the transcript where Archer tells Goldman that his description is “almost fair,” because Hunter is showing off that there is a degree of access.
And in a further effort to cover for President Biden, Scarborough kept up his narrative that “Comer comes up with a different lie every day.” He was backed up by Politico White House Bureau Chief Jonathan Lemire, who made the argument that the whole Hunter Biden investigation was a “whataboutism” meant to “bring the Bidens down to the level where Trump is.”
Lemire, in his worst moment of Trump Derangement Syndrome, had the audacity to whine about the Devon Archer testimony and investigation into the Bidens, saying “And let's be honest, it's been propped by the conservative media, one cable network, in particular, who is treating it as sort of an equal matter as to what we're seeing with Donald Trump.”
Joe, Mika, and the rest of the MSNBC hosts gave new insight into just how depraved the leftist media really was. In an act of total desperation and terror, they were willing to verifiably lie directly to the world about something as simple as a transcript. For what purpose? To protect the Bidens and by extension, the political success of the Democratic Party. They made it clear that no one interested in honesty can trust them, the media exists solely to spread propaganda for the left.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: Right. And so there are all these distractions. And again, we could go on and on and on. They have a different lie every day. Comer comes up with a different lie every day. You remember the informant? They had the tape. They were going to hold the FBI director in contempt of Congress. And then when they found out there was nothing on there, what do you have?
You have Grassley going, "Well, we don't care that he did nothing wrong. We don't care." And they don't care. All they want to do is keep a lie going. Spread more smoke. And there's always smoke, never fire, because they're the ones that are spewing this smoke, usually on Fox News, and it all ends up being nothing.
JONATHAN LEMIRE: Let's remember that Comer, about a month or so back, gave an interview to Fox in which he acknowledged that he was seeing President Biden's poll numbers take a hit as a direct result of his investigations and that's why they were doing this.
On the Devon Archer testimony, we've just been talking about, not only did it not provide a smoking gun, it backed up the Biden side of the story, but the Republicans had alleged that the Biden Department of Justice was trying to prevent him from testifying. Because Archer had been sentenced to a year in prison on an unrelated matter.
And Archer’s own lawyer was like, no actually, these things have nothing to do with it. He’s going to serve his time. This has nothing to do with his testimony whatsoever.” It’s just trying to- It's a firehose of falsehoods, as we say on this show a lot. It is a smoke machine and it’s an effort to distract. And it’s a whataboutism. It’s trying to bring the Bidens down to the level where Trump is. It’s trying to just – “hey, everyone is corrupt, therefore, it doesn't matter. You can still cast your ballot for our guy.”
And look, this hasn't -- it's not simply true. It's simply not. And we know that look, Hunter Biden's plea deal collapsed last month. That judge raised some concerns. Some legal experts we’ve talked to said, “hey, maybe legitimate concerns” about the breadth of the Hunter Biden plea deal. As we say, Willie, you know, we'll follow that in the weeks ahead, we’ll see what if there are any other legal matters that Hunter Biden has to contend with.
But right now, this is all about politics for the Republican Party. And let's be honest, it's been propped by the conservative media, one cable network, in particular, who is treating it as sort of an equal matter as to what we're seeing with Donald Trump.
