Tell me something I don’t know.
"The Office" star Rainn Wilson tweeted Saturday that Hollywood exudes an anti-Christian bias, saying he noticed this most specifically after a supposedly Christian character in a recent episode of “The Last Of Us” turned out to be a cannibalistic pedophile.
"As soon as the David character in 'The Last of Us' started reading from the Bible I knew that he was going to be a horrific villain. Could there be a Bible-reading preacher on a show who is actually loving and kind?" Wilson tweeted.
I do think there is an anti-Christian bias in Hollywood. As soon as the David character in “The Last of Us”

started reading from the Bible I knew that he was going to be a horrific villain. Could there be a Bible-reading preacher on a show who is actually loving and kind?
The eighth episode of HBO's zombie apocalypse thriller featured David, a self-appointed Christian preacher, leading a group of survivors who turned out to be cannibals (most of them unwittingly) and who justifies his own horrific actions by repeatedly quoting Scripture and claiming to speak for the Lord. The episode ends with the supposedly God-fearing leader admitting he doesn't actually believe in God before attempting to rape and murder a 14-year-old girl.
Obviously that’s not what true Christians do, but such a storyline helps style Christians as weird and twisted cultists, just like Hollywood and the left want.
Unironically, we’re talking about the same show that centers on a teenage protagonist who, for some reason, is revealed to be a lesbian.

Ultimately, Hollywood is run by a bunch of leftist elitists, who weave leftist propaganda into nearly every show. Whether it's pushing for abortion, peddling anti-gun rhetoric, advertising the BLM narrative or just promoting general anti-Christian garbage, tactics of the left shine through nearly every entertainment product.
And it looks like others agreed with Wilson.
I lean left but Last of Us still made me roll my eyes quite a few times with its Hollywood nonsense. Had to stop watching.

Hollywood just doesn’t know how to portray a genuine Christ follower. Any born again Christian knows David was not a true Christian. I agree it would be edifying for people, including non-believers, to see true followers of Christ for a change, though. Almost every portrayal is… https://t.co/7pJMzml4Dd

Devoted Christians are rarely represented by Hollywood and never as hero in the story

For Latinos it’s worse. Theres approx 16-17 million Latino Evangelicals in USA
I’m talking millions
Outside of faith films, you wont see this common archetype represented in Hollywood - ever
These guys get it! While Hollywood typically paints Christians in a negative or an antagonistic light, the industry celebrates and promotes Satan (Sam Smith’s performance at the Grammy’s where he danced as a devil is a prime example).
Wilson was spot on with his statement that Hollywood has an anti-Christian bias, and it’s unlikely this will change anytime soon.
