During CNN's highly publicized interview with First Lady Jill Biden, CNN's Arlette Saenz got weak knees for Biden and seemed to be practically drooling over her during various moments in the embarrassingly servile sitdown. While there were some serious topics discussed, none of the questions were at all challenging. It seemed as if, Saenz was auditioning for a job in the Biden regime. Here are some of the dumbest moments from Saenz's interview with the First Lady.
After questioning Biden on her husband's secret trip to Ukraine, Saenz asked her if she was "able to keep tabs on him." When she responded that she was able to, Saenz asked if "he texting you on the train."
That question was so dumb that Jill Biden actually laughed and replied "no, he wasn't texting me on the train."
It got even more embarrassing from there. Moments later, Saenz enquired about how many times Joe and Jill Biden FaceTime each other:
SAENZ: Have you had the chance to talk to him about this trip yet?
BIDEN: Oh, yeah, we've spoken a couple of times, and face timed and so, yeah, and he looks great. I mean, so he doesn't look tired or, yeah.
SAENZ: How often do you guys FaceTime?
BIDEN: I don't know, a couple times a day.
SAENZ: Even if you're just in D.C. Or when you're traveling?
BIDEN: I'm traveling, I'm at work. I mean, he calls—he calls a lot.
SAENZ: Does he call you more or do you call him more?
BIDEN: I think he calls me more.
Next up, she turned to a serious topic but asked it as a concerned friend as opposed to an actual journalist: "I want to turn to another issue that has come up amongst Republicans a lot, and your son Hunter has really been a target for Republicans over the years and likely will be in the years to come. How does your family deal with that intense focus on Hunter?"
Translation: "Dr. Biden, how do you deal with these big mean Republicans going after poor Hunter?" This isn't journalism, this is Democrat Party propaganda.
The last question was no less embarrassing. Turning back to the looming 2024 presidential campaign, Saenz asked Jill Biden if she ever worries "about how grueling a campaign might be" on Joe Biden if he decides to run.
"I think every campaign is grueling. I don't care whether you're 20, 30, or whatever age. Campaigns now have become really grueling," the First Lady responded.
