On Monday, a Philadelphia jury found pro-life activist Mark Houck not guilty on trumped-up charges filed by the Biden regime which alleged Houck was blocking access to an abortion clinic while protesting outside the clinic, which they said was a crime under the FACE Act and would've subjected Houck to over a decade in prison. Since this is another black eye for the Biden Justice Department and a big victory for Houck, the three evening news broadcasts ignored the jury verdict.
Instead of reporting on the big win for the pro-life side, ABC's World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News spent air time on stories like local weather reports, a Tesla catching fire off the side of a highway, and an incident where a man was saved from an oncoming train by a police officer.
Unsurprisingly, Fox News covered the Houck jury verdict right as it broke with correspondent Mark Meredith reporting that Houck was acquitted and his "legal team told Fox News that they were thrilled with the outcome upon learning that he had been acquitted of both charges. He was potentially facing up to 11 years behind bars."
Giving viewers background on the legal case, Meredith recalled that "this all stems from an incident that dated back to October of 2021 in which Houck was accused of physically assaulting an abortion clinic volunteer escort in Philadelphia." Adding that, "the feds had basically claimed that Houck was preventing people from getting into these clinics."
You can be sure that if the verdict went the other way, the three networks would've covered it and gloated over the outcome.
This bias by omission from the three networks was made possible thanks to lucrative sponsorships from Vicks on ABC, Red Lobster on CBS, and Liberty Mutual on NBC. Their information is linked.

3:26:38 p.m. EasternTRACE GALLAGHER: A verdict in the trial of an anti-abortion activist facing more than a decade in prison after a confrontation outside a clinic. Mark Meredith is live in Washington with more on the breaking details. Mark?
MARK MEREDITH: Trace, good afternoon to you. Well, moments ago we heard from the legal team representing Mark Houck who as you mentioned is the pro-life activist who was facing federal charges of violating something known as the federal FACE Act or the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances, this is video from last week as he was arriving at a Philadelphia courthouse at the start of his trial.
And as we talked about moments ago, his legal team told Fox News that they were thrilled with the outcome upon learning that he had been acquitted of both charges. He was potentially facing up to 11 years behind bars. Again, this is video of him walking into court last week with his wife at the start of a trial. This all stems from an incident that dated back to October of 2021 in which Houck was accused of physically assaulting an abortion clinic volunteer escort in Philadelphia.
The feds had basically claimed that Houck was preventing people from getting into these clinics. Obviously that they felt it was a violation of federal law and the FACE Act which I was talking about. Something we've heard a lot about the Justice Department in the last couple weeks, they've been talking about the FACE Act and whether or not they’re gonna bring additional cases going forward. We have heard from Houck's legal team which said they are thrilled with the outcome and that they are glad the jury saw through and rejected the prosecution's discriminatory case.
This was a case that lasted about a week. Jury selection began last Tuesday. The jury was deadlocked going into the weekend. No word what may have swayed this final decision here. But this acquittal according to the legal team for Mark Houck as well as from the local reporters that have been in the courtroom. Trace, if we get more information we'll send it your way.
