Liberal “sanctuary cities” like New York are no longer welcoming illegal immigrants with open arms after embattled states like Texas, Florida, and left-leaning Colorado started sending their throngs of illegals to the Big Apple; suddenly the border crisis is real. And during the Wednesday edition of ABC’s The View, Whoopi Goldberg lashed out at those states, saying they were acting like children and demanded they send money to New York so they could deal with the illegals.
“[A]ll of these states that have sent us folks because they're mad that people don't come directly to New York. They're mad that people are coming, you know, by bus,” she said with a chuckle as if their frustration was a joke. “All these states get money. I don't understand why Texas isn't sharing some of that money,” she demanded.
Racist Sunny Hostin clarified that Goldberg was talking about federal money. Goldberg turned to confront Colorado and Democratic Governor Jared Polis. “Colorado, listen. I know you sent all these folks, maybe you didn't realize, but you need to send some cash,” she declared.
And as if those states were overblowing how the Biden administration has been leaving them stranded in the crisis, she accused them of “doing exactly now what you are accusing the federal government of not doing. You're doing the same thing.”
Her big-brain idea was to cut the funds going to the states on the frontlines of Biden’s border crisis and give it to the liberal areas those states were sending illegals to. “Either we all take this money and we give it to all the states and people deal with it because everybody's getting it, or you're not going to get it, and we're going to have a big fight,” she proclaimed.
“There has to be an adult in the room, and my concern is that there isn't, and there's not going to be for some time,” Goldberg huffed. Hostin lamented that there may not be much Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) could do in the House to get Goldberg’s plan rolling.
For some time, Goldberg has been pushing the notion that border security and dealing with the historic flood of illegal immigrants was the sole responsibility of border states. Last September, she lashed out at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) for sending illegals to Hostin’s favorite vacation spot, Martha’s Vineyard.
“Now, call me crazy … I thought we asked people to come here,” she whined at the time as if the expectation was for Florida to foot the bill themselves.
“And I know that Ron DeSantis' great-great-grandma arrived at Ellis Island in 1917 from Italy. She also could not read or write. But no one gave her permission to come. She came, and we still took her in,” she sneered, ignorant to the fact that what she described would be DeSantis’s relative coming to America LEGALLY.
Whoopi, the real solution would be for liberals to stop encouraging people to come here illegally with promises of sanctuary cities and open borders and overwhelming our system.
Whoopi Goldberg's ridiculous demands were made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Hershey and Allegra. Their contact information is linked.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: But you know, I'm waiting to find out -- because all of these states that have sent us folks because they're mad that people don't come directly to New York. [Chuckles] They're mad that people are coming, you know, by bus. All these states get money. I don't understand why Texas isn't sharing some of that money.
SUNNY HOSTIN: The federal government money?
GOLDBERG: Well, yeah.
HOSTIN: Yeah.
GOLDBERG: If you are going to do that, that's where I would go for them. Colorado, listen. I know you sent all these folks, maybe you didn't realize, but you need to send some cash. Because you're doing exactly now what you are accusing the federal government of not doing. You're doing the same thing.
So, I want to see somebody say, hold up. Either we all take this money and we give it to all the states and people deal with it because everybody's getting it, or you're not going to get it, and we're going to have a big fight.
SARA HAINES: Yeah.
GOLDBERG: Somebody has to -- there has to be an adult in the room, and my concern is that there isn't, and there's not going to be for some time. We’ll see what they do. We can do nothing but sit and watch.
HOSTIN: I hope Hakeem can do something. I don’t know what he can. But at least he’ll be in there.
