Reaction from the nation´s Spanish-speaking networks to the transfer of busloads of undocumented migrants from the states of Texas and Arizona to Democrat sanctuary states and cities in the North has morphed- from on-air mockery to alarm, scorn and shock, as Republican governors continue to offer that alternative to qualifying migrants crossing illegally into the country.
Since April, when Texas Governor Greg Abbott sent the first bus to DC, Telemundo, Univision, CNN En Español, and Estrella TV have all flooded their national newscasts with close to four hours of coverage to date.
The following video compilation showcases the evolution of their synchronized talking points; from the first bus arriving at DC's Union Station, through the express deportation from Martha's Vineyard of some 50 migrants sent by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis:

The Latino media newscasts took the issue lightly at first. During this initial stage, they all hammered the talking points of “Abbot is doing this to protest President Biden's immigration policy and the end of Title 42”.
However, when the buses continued to arrive in DC, then New York, and Chicago, the conversation changed. This time around, the media chose drama, by pulling out the “humanitarian crisis” card : “it's a huge crisis!”, a ”crisis in every sense of the word!” they cried in unison.
Next came the “it's hurting our pockets” stage: “This is costing us 12 million dollars!”; “12 million dollars!”; “12 million dollars that all taxpayers are paying!”.
Last, but not least, came the ´lock-em-up´ twist. One Telemundo hostess sported a wide, cynical smile as she joyfully announced- “And this month, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis could be investigated for human trafficking.” Funny how that angle has never made the cut when reporting about the Biden migrant flights north in the dead of night!
“There is an ongoing investigation and whoever is responsible will be brought to justice if it is proven that a crime was committed”, Univision´s Pedro Ultreras solemnly warned their audience in reference to a lawsuit against DeSantis for allegedly luring the migrants into making the trip with false promises.
This accusatory angle made it to the news AFTER the migrants were promptly taken away from the vacation paradise of the rich and famous, that by the way, make much ado about supporting illegal migration and welcoming the migrants into their sanctuary state.
The ultimate hypocrite comment came from anchor Rebeka Smyth, from Telemundo, who lamented on-air -“Oh Cristina (Londoño), and it's a population of 20,000 people, and some locals say that receiving 50- it's not that they don't want to, it's that it's a lot for, for, for the island.” Really? Go tell that to the even smaller communities on the border towns where not 50, but thousands upon thousands of illegals cross daily.
