White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki can't answer the question. Can you?
On June 21, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked by the MRC’s very own Melanie Arter whether President Biden believed that an unborn baby in the second trimester of its development is a human being. “Does the president believe that a 15-week-old unborn baby is a human being?” Arter asked, and Psaki completely dodged the answer, pivoting to the typical "women’s right to choose" boilerplate.
"Are you asking me if the president supports a woman's right to choose? He does,” responded Psaki. Of course this is typical lefty politics, but when you really think about it, it’s a shocking and brutal answer, especially in light of the fact that Biden is a member of the Catholic Church, a church that teaches that abortion is a grave evil. In her answer, Psaki coldly denied the humanity and dignity of the unborn human in the womb. She just sidestepped it, ignored it, as if the question was beneath her.
There was no thought given whatsoever to the fact that a 15 week-old unborn baby – nearly four months into pregnancy – lives its own life. It can feel pain by this point, has developed “eyelids, eyebrows, eyelashes, nails, hair, and well-defined fingers and toes” and in many cases, has its hearing well-developed enough to be able to hear its mother’s voice for the first time. Granted none of this makes the baby any more alive than it was at the moment of conception – where the life processes that will continue throughout its life, directed by the child’s unique DNA, begin.
But perhaps the Biden administration could see how unfeeling they are to insist that a woman can tear apart an innocent baby that actually looks and pretty much acts like one after it has been born. MRCTV went out into the streets of Alexandria, Virginia to see if everyday Americans could answer the obvious question – whether a 15 week-old unborn baby is a human being. Watch the video to find out whether the average citizen is as cold and callous as the Biden administration.
