The networks touted Biden's alleged bipartisan triumph on an infrastructure deal on Thursday night. But did you see the clips of President Biden breaking out the whispers repeatedly when he talked to the press? Even Stephen Colbert told him he was creepy. He whispered “it’s a little creepy.”
Kimmel joked it sounded like sex patter: "That is the sound Jill Biden hears before he starts chewing on her hair." Jimmy Fallon also goofed on the "Whisperer in Chief." He joked with the line from Field of Dreams. “If you build it, they will come." At least the comedians noticed. No one expected that the network newscasts would pick up this line. Instead, they found responsible-sounding clips of him speaking in regular voice.
Biden's soundbites quite routinely make him sound sober, serious, presidential. This is the opposite of Trump. They selected the soundbites they found the most outrageous or scandalous.
