ABC, CBS, NBC, and even the Spanish-language networks wouldn't touch anything making Kerry look bad. When it appeared in the New York Times, the Kerry piece of it was paragraph #22 – and it was only one paragraph...on a story that was published on Page A-8.
In the Trump years, the networks loaded up "bombshell" after "bombshell" about how Trump had allegedly sold out Americans or our allies to the Russians. But there are no "bombshells" to embarrass the Democrats. Only an occasional "Republicans pounced" item.
Nick Fondacaro joined the show to discuss his bias-busting coup -- shaming NBC anchorman Lester Holt for deceptively leaving out audio that showed the stabbing threat posed by MaKhia Bryant, who was shot by a policeman in Columbus, Ohio right before she stabbed another black teenager. The other networks had the full context. The next night, without admitting fault, NBC repeated the story with that context included...a victory of sorts.
Nick also brings new details about Chris Cuomo fussing about the Census and redistricting, and we recall the Trump-hating quotes from previous State of the Union. Yes, Don Lemon accused Donald Trump of being a dunce who didn't understand big words.
