Is PolitiFact proving how objective they are by holding a “United Facts of America fact-checking festival” from May 10 to 13 starring CNN’s Brian Stelter? No, they’re further proving they are part of the liberal media.

What is a "private virtual happy hour"? It's not like they can give you a drink and a canape gratis while you sit at your own table at home.
This four-day Zoom festival kicks off Monday with a panel of fact-checkers: Angie Holan, editor-in-chief of PolitiFact, Glenn Kessler, editor and chief writer of the Washington Post Fact Checker (counting 30,000-plus Trump lies for your Democrat talking points), and Eugene Kiely, director of FactCheck.org.
That's followed by the "VIP Exclusive" of Holan interviewing Stelter. Usually, Stelter is rolling out CNN's red carpet for Holan, most recently to try and clean up Andrew Cuomo's COVID mess in New York.
Then on Tuesday, PolitiFact managing editor Katie Sanders interviews Dr. Anthony Fauci. Perhaps they can explain why PolitiFact has exactly zero fact checks on Fauci statements, despite his reputation as America's COVID expert who has apparently never flip-flopped or admitted that he manipulated the idea of "herd immunity" to keep America's herd calm.
On Wednesday, PolitiFact executive director Aaron Sharockman interviews Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va)., about Section 230 and Big Tech. No Republican is listed, because PolitiFact probably doesn't have any Republicans in its ranks (or probably its donors). Sister Toldjah notes he's presently sounding "Mostly False" on election reform.
Then on Thursday, it's "Speaking the Truth — with keynote Steven Hassan." Politifact oozes: "Hear from Steven Hassan, an American mental health counselor who has written on the subject of mind control and how to help people who have been harmed by the experience. Hassan has written about Q, and the cult of personality surrounding Donald Trump."
In 2019, Stelter brought Hassan on his show to promote his book The Cult of Trump. “It is frightening to hear a cult expert say that you see all of these signs right now today in American politics,” Stelter declared. He also suggested they needed to be deprogrammed. “So, finally, the first step, if you say this is a cult, what's the first step of deprogramming?”
Stelter's most infamous mental-health expert was Allen Frances, who screeched that Trump was as destructive as Hitler, Stalin, and Mao -- and "may be responsible for many more million deaths than they were." Even PolitiFact felt compelled to call that "Pants on Fire."
Maybe someone should ask Brian about that at the "virtual private happy hour." (Or his sad profile pic on PolitiFact.)
