Four foreign nationals on the FBI's terror watch list have been arrested at the southern border since October, but this bit of very concerning news was completely ignored by the nation’s liberal Hispanic networks that continue to push for open borders via an endless succession of reports hailing Biden's new immigration policies.
While both Telemundo and Univision chose to bypass the revelation made by the U.S. Border Patrol on Tuesday, March 16th, MRC Latino managed to capture this clip from Fox's Special Report with Bret Baier, about the apprehensions of four terrorist entering the United States from the southern border- three from Yemen and one from Serbia:
KRISTIN FISHER: Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas insists --
DHS SECRETARY ALEJANDRO MAYORKAS: The border is secure.
(....)
FISHER: U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed to Congress that since October, four people have been arrested at the southern border with names matching those on the FBI terrorist watch list; three are from Yemen and one from Serbia.
(....)
MAYORKAS: The border is secure.
Of course, such optics would be in direct conflict with the political agendas at the Spanish-speaking media, where the Biden administration's “it's not a crisis,” and, “it's all Trump's fault,” talking points are now de rigueur when covering the migrant tsunami at the southern border. But the truth is the truth, and it's scary.
The news of the arrests became public the day after Republican House Representatives visited the border and warned about terrorists exploiting the border. Yet, judging from the non-attention afforded to the visit -and terrorist threat- by the Latino news rooms, it simply wasn't as newsworthy as the performative activism offered by the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes, et. al., outside migrant holding facilities a few years back under Trump.

March 16, 2021KRISTIN FISHER: Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas insists --
DHS SECRETARY ALEJANDRO MAYORKAS: The border is secure.
FISHER: In the same day he issued a statement admitting that the United States is quote “on pace to encounter more individuals the southeast border that we have in the last 20 years”, the secretary is blaming the surge on everything but the new administration's immigration policy. From poverty, high levels of violence and corruption in Central American countries to two damaging hurricanes that hit Honduras, the COVID-19 pandemic and the prior administration. But Republicans like congressman John Katko, said blaming the Trump administration makes no sense.
CONGRESSMAN JOHN KATKO (R-NY): It's just not a realistic statement. They are doing this because they really find themselves, they are trying to find an explanation as to why they did what they did. There was really no answer for it.
FISHER: Congressman Katko is among the House Republicans who toured the border on Monday. At the time he warned of terrorists starting to exploit the southern border. One day later, U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed to Congress that since October, four people have been arrested at the southern border with names matching those on the FBI terrorist watch list; three are from Yemen and one from Serbia. Today the head of the U.S. Southern Command declined to say there's a crisis at the border, but he did say this.
ADM. CRAIG FALLER, U.S. SOUTHER COMMAND: I would say there is a crisis in Central America in terms of their ability to maintain their democracies and move forward in a way that sustains their personnel.
FISHER: The message to migrants from the Biden administration continues to be
MAYORKAS: Don't come now. Give us a time to rebuild the system that was entirely dismantled in the prior administration.
