CBS Brings on Analyst Who Gushes Over Democratic Party ‘We All Love So Much’

February 26th, 2020 11:08 AM

CBS on Tuesday night brought on a post-debate analyst who cheered the Democratic Party “we all love so much.” Though Elaine Quijano identified Antjuan Seawright as “a CBS news political contributor and Democratic strategist,” it should be clear that he doesn't just like the Democrats. He REALLY likes the Democratic Party.

Talking to Elizabeth Warren, he fretted, “Senator, there is a graveyard concern about possible down-ballot carnage if we nominate the wrong person in this party... we all love so much. And the number one rule I learned in politics: You cannot govern if you do not win.”

The Democratic Party we ALL love so much? Fellow panelist Major Garrett didn’t object. Seawright and Warren plotted strategy on CBS:

ANTJUAN SEAWRIGHT: You cannot govern if you do not win. You have plans. You're very proud of that.

ELIZABETH WARREN: Yeah. .

SEAWRIGHT: So how will your plans be implemented if we do not win?

WARREN: Well, that's the whole point. We do have to win.

During the 10 to 11 PM hour, Seawright lauded 2020 candidate Joe Biden: “And we knew there were high expectations for the Vice President Biden to perform well. And it was a homecoming for Joe Biden. I think he did everything he was supposed to do tonight.” He touted candidate Tom Steyer: “Tom Steyer is smart, doing a high-tech campaign in a state like South Carolina, that matters in South Carolina and places that follow.”

It should be noted that there weren’t any Republican guests in the post-debate hour on CBS.
