In advance of the Monday evening premiere of the CBSN Originals documentary Gender: The Space Between, CBSNews.com published propaganda pieces promoting the radical left’s perverted LGBT agenda. The articles’ liberal narratives, devoid of any conservative counterbalance, provided another example of the media’s activist approach to covering the revolution to redefine gender and normalize all permutations of sexual proclivity.
For those unfamiliar with LGBT lingo, an article titled, “The gender identity terms you need to know” included a “guide to some of the topics and terms discussed in ‘Gender: The Space Between,’ as defined by the Human Rights Campaign, GLAAD, The Trevor Project, and the National Center for Transgender Equality.” While the article linked to the glossaries of these pro-LGBT websites, not every term in CBS’s list was defined within those glossaries and the CBS article’s definitions do not always quote those sources’ definitions exactly.
In the twisted logic of the choose-your-own-gender world of contrived gender identities, boys can be girls, girls can be boys and anyone can declare themselves to be something in between, a combination of both or something entirely foreign to the male/female dichotomy. Some of the terms from the glossary included:
Gender identity: A person’s innermost concept of self as man, woman, a blend of both, or neither – how individuals perceive themselves and what they call themselves. Gender identity can be the same or different from one’s sex assigned at birth.
Gender fluid: A person who does not identify with a single fixed gender, and expresses a fluid or unfixed gender identity. One’s expression of identity is likely to shift and change depending on context.
Genderqueer: A term for people who reject notions of static categories of gender and embrace a fluidity of gender identity and often, though not always, sexual orientation. People who identify as genderqueer may see themselves as being both male and female, neither male nor female or as falling completely outside these categories.
Two-spirit: A term that refers to historical and current First Nations people whose individual spirits were a blend of male and female. This term has been reclaimed by some in Native American LGBT communities to honor their heritage and provide an alternative to the Western labels of gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender.
Without even feigning balance in this article, the allegedly-objective CBS News published this radical left-wing tripe. The article even included a word for men who identify as men and women who identify as women:
Cisgender: A term used to describe someone whose gender identity aligns with the sex assigned to them at birth.
Part of the article prior to the glossary section declared: “Gender identity is an extremely personal part of who we are, and how we perceive and express ourselves in the world. It is a separate issue entirely from sex, our biological makeup; or sexual orientation, who we are attracted to.”
Another CBS propaganda piece titled, “The difference between sexual orientation and gender identity,” stated:
Gender identity is defined by the Human Rights Campaign as the “innermost concept of self as male, female, a blend of both or neither – how individuals perceive themselves and what they call themselves.” It can mirror what a person was assigned at birth, or be entirely different. There are dozens of genders, outside of just man or woman, that people can identify with.
Sexual orientation, on the other hand is the “inherent or immutable enduring emotional, romantic or sexual attraction to other people.” Basically, it’s who you are interested in dating and being intimate with. Someone can be transgender, but also be gay, straight, bisexual, asexual, or a whole host of other sexual identities that exist.
This article concluded:
Ultimately…people just want to feel that their gender identity is recognized. Gender and sexuality are both essential components of who we are, and how we live our lives. But the two are not the same, and that’s a crucial fact to remember.
CBS also published a third article titled “Social media, celebrities, and transgender youth.”
One tweet advertising CBSN’s Gender: The Space Between declared, “[t]ransgender is just the beginning” and another tweet said, “[w]hen you don't identify with being a man or woman, it can be a long journey to understanding your gender identity.”
If the entire movie resembles the trailer, the production will probably blast viewers with a massive dose of propaganda-laden cultural conditioning.
