Many in the media have a fascination with scary stories, but oftentimes they're all too happy to ignore the real horror stories – especially when it comes to abortion.
In response to the media’s censorship of abortion, the Media Research Center will host an #AbortionHorrrors tweetfest from 10 a.m. until noon Nov. 3. The Twitter campaign will slam the media coverage of three ghoulish stories in particular: Michigan abortionist Michael Roth, the Planned Parenthood videos and Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell.

Tell the stories the media won’t by using the hashtag #AbortionHorrors on Twitter.
When Michigan police first found containers of “human tissue” in the trunk of abortionist Michael Roth’s car in October, local news reported on the story. But ABC, NBC and CBS didn’t bat an eye during their national news shows – not even when authorities raided Roth’s home and office.
And the coverage doesn’t get much better with Planned Parenthood. Last month, MRC Culture found the three broadcast networks had aired a mere one minute and 20 seconds of the videos exposing the abortion giant.
During their news shows, ABC, NBC and CBS haven’t covered the release of a Planned Parenthood video since July. In other words, the networks skipped over the last seven videos released by the Center for Medical Progress.
The media similarly stayed silent on the case of Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell. Gosnell's trial, in which witnesses described baby abortion survivors “swimming" in toilets “to get out,” attracted a scant 12–15 reporters. Only after 56 days, multiple letters from members of the House of Representatives and a public outcry, did all three broadcast networks report on Gosnell.
The Facebook event page encouraged tweeters:
“Just as pro-lifers pressured the media into reporting on abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s ‘house of horrors’ abortion chop shop, pro-lifers can pressure the media into covering the disgusting truth about abortionist Michael Roth.”
