It’s a sad day for journalism when the women of The View ask tougher questions than ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos. Yet, the co-hosts of the female chat show grilled Clinton on her e-mail scandal, abortion and protecting Christianity. Even though there is very little evidence that the National Enquirer story about Senator Ted Cruz, sleeping with five women while married, is true, that has not stopped some from reveling in the effect it will have on his campaign. “Someone like Ted Cruz I would like to see him fall, personally. He's not a good guy,” co-host and "comedian" Michelle Collins asserted on Monday's The View.

Far-left host Keith Olbermann appeared on The View, Friday, to warn that while the threat of a nuclear ISIS is “theoretical,” the danger of Donald Trump becoming President is a “distinct” possibility. Olbermann wondered aloud, “Somebody said the other day...'What would happen if ISIS got nukes?.... So, I said, ‘what would happen if Donald Trump got nukes?’"

The Ted Cruz bashing continued on ABC’s The View, Wednesday, with Joy Behar excoriating the “dangerous,” “anti-Muslim” Republican candidate. The co-hosts discussed Cruz’s call for preemptive monitoring and cooperation with Muslim communities to prevent terrorism. Behar snarled, “All this business of being anti-Muslim is not helping the situation. We need to take a long view of terrorism.” 

The women of The View on Monday predictably lashed out at critics of Barack Obama’s trip to Cuba, making morally equivalent arguments between the communist country and the United States. Co-host Joy Behar described the President’s deals with despotic regimes like Cuba and the United States as “reaching across the aisle.”

Mayer appeared on The View on March 3, 2016, to promote her latest conspiracy theory involving the Koch brothers: a new book entitled “Dark Money,” She claims to expose the Koch brothers “secret.” Their crime, according to Mayer? Wanting smaller government.

Whatever national sin America committed to deserve The View must have been grave indeed. As The Hollywood Reporter reminds readers, ABC’s soul-killing coffee klatch has been on for nearly 20 years. That’s two decades of the marginally informed imparting liberal conventional wisdom to the intellectually incurious, with all the soothing aural ambiance of a dog pound at walkies time.

Left-wing comic Lewis Black appeared on Monday’s The View to discuss the presidential race where he admitted his favor for Bernie Sanders because of his self-admitted socialism. Black’s answer won him applause and cheers from the crowd and the panel.
