Hours before President Biden’s formal announcement that he’s releasing a puny 15 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), the major broadcast networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC heralded this nonsensical effort to take oil from a collection meant for serious emergencies and use it to try and rescue Biden and his party’s chances in the midterm elections.

Liberal journalists are obsessed with the idea that we’re about to head into another Civil War and you can guess who they think is responsible for the coming violence. Hint: It’s not the Democrats. Historian Jon Meacham appeared on Wednesday’s Today show to promote his new book on Abraham Lincoln.

All three networks on Tuesday morning ignored the fact that Democrat Stacey Abrams is still flirting with election denialism, refusing to outright say that she would accept the results of the Georgia’s governor’s race, should she lose. Abrams debated incumbent Republican Brian Kemp on Monday night 

NBC on Monday Demonstrated that the network morning shows are still intent on investigating everything when it comes to Herschel Walker, but offer a collective yawn when it comes to the controversies connected to far-left Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock. 

On Thursday morning, ABC and CBS showed what matters to them most. They combined to have spent more time on the last hearing of the House Select Committee on January 6 and the latest leaks against former President Trump than Americans struggling to make ends meet amid record-high gas prices, soaring food costs, and surging inflation.

Kudos to CBS and reporter Mark Strassmann for fairness. Strassmann, on the CBS Evening News and CBS Mornings shows was the only journalist to repeatedly note that the powerful Los Angeles politician who went on a racist rant is a Democrat. ABC barely noticed it. NBC covered the story once on Tuesday, but made no mention of party affiliation.

ABC relented on Friday morning and covered the breaking news that Joe Biden’s son Hunter may be on the verge of federal criminal charges. On Wednesday, the Associated Press dropped a bomb on the Ohio Senate race between Republican author and investor J.D. Vance and Congressman Tim Ryan (D) as reporter Julie Carr Smyth revealed Ryan has received $27,000 in donations from the very drug manufacturers found responsible for the deadly opioid epidemic that’s especially ravaged states like Ohio.

The media-backed October surprise is finally here. In the 24 hours since the liberal Daily Beast posted an accusation that Georgia Republican senatorial candidate Herschel Walker paid for an abortion in 2009, the ABC, CBS and NBC morning and evening newscasts devoted almost 21 minutes to hyping the allegations. 

The networks and cable channels on Monday greeted the new term of the Supreme Court with worry, fretting about the “super majority of conservatives” and what they might do as a follow-up to overturning Roe v. Wade. Suddenly, ditching precedent is seen as worthy of warning viewers about. When the Court overturned precedents in favor of liberals, it wasn’t such a concern.
