Just two months after Hillary Clinton came out with her latest memoir, Bill Clinton is offering his latest book, titled Citizen: My Life After the White House. CBS's Sunday Morning aired a soft-soap Tracy Smith interview to help line his pockets and boost Clinton's reputation as a powerful global citizen and statesman.

After CBS anchor Norah O'Donnell favored Democrat Tim Walz in the vice presidential debate and has aggressively pushed her anti-Trump themes on the CBS Evening News last week (including the Trump-smearing Atlantic article), she was granted an interview with Kamala Harris, which aired on Sunday Morning. 

The recent push against free speech is underlied, so we’re told, by a desire to protect the legitimacy of our institutions against discord and disinformation propaganda. Unless, of course, the discord is sown by Regime journalists. Then, it is perfectly acceptable.

Team Biden has denied almost every request for a Biden interview. The exception seems to be for celebrity softballers like Drew Barrymore and Ryan Seacrest. On Sunday Morning, CBS reporter Robert Costa wasn't bubbly like a celebrity, but the chat had all the energy of a co-produced White House video. A high-school student could have written these questions. 

Lesley Stahl can’t just embarrass herself with fawning Democrat interviews on 60 Minutes. Now they’ve put her on Sunday Morning with her hero Nancy Pelosi, letting Pelosi put Joe Biden on Mount Rushmore. Substitute host Tracy Smith introduced the gush with gush: Pelosi "has a new book out, The Art of Power, an art which Nancy Pelosi is something of a master.”

Now it looks like a one-two punch with kid-gloves. Vice President Kamala Harris drew puffballs from Mika Brzezinski on Morning Joe after CBS's Sunday Morning aired a soft-serve scoop of her hubby, "Second Gentleman" Douglas Emhoff.

If you thought that the effort to make Pete Buttigieg into a thing has waned or diminished in light of his tenure as Secretary of Transportation, think again. CBS Sunday Morning leveraged a treacly Father’s Day profile of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and husband Chasten into an infomercial hyping a 2028 presidential run. 

The Regime Media’s selling of the sanctity of the verdict to convict former President Donald Trump in the New York business records trial requires the intervention of, what else…regime historians. 

CBS reporter Robert Costa put together a puffball interview for HBO Real Time host Bill Maher on their show Sunday Morning. What was amazing in this profile was Costa imploring Maher to lay off mockery of the Left, just shine the spotlight on the right-wingers! 

On CBS This Morning, correspondent Lee Cowan ran a lifetime achievement profile of disgraced anchor Dan Rather that seemed weirdly valedictory. But the profile omitted the most significant detail of Rather’s legacy at CBS.

Christine Blasey Ford provided what they call “no evidence” to back up her 2018 claim that Brett Kavanaugh assaulted her when they were teens. Kavanaugh fiercely denied the charge. But CBS and ABC and NPR have provided sappy publicity for her new book – which provides no new evidence of her story.

On CBS Sunday Morning, correspondent John Dickerson sat down with former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney, who has a book to promote. But they also have a shared interest in pushing the idea of Republicans as authoritarians. Predictably, the interview was pillow-soft.

If you think part-time Biden speechwriter Jon Meacham sounds humorous when he says everyone needs to vote for Biden as a “test of citizenship,” there’s also former Jimmy Carter speechwriter James Fallows, who insisted on CBS’s Sunday Morning that Biden should position himself in the mold of Truman and Eisenhower as moderate “steady hands at the controls.”

During a segment on CBS Sunday Morning, correspondent Rita Braver sat down with rabid leftist MSNBC host Rachel Maddow and dutifully helped her promote her new book "Prequel: An American Fight against Fascism." While it's common for Sunday Morning to interview authors about their new books, they have yet to interview talk radio star and Fox News host Mark Levin about his new…
