Ed Schultz Blames Citizens United Ruling for Rise of Donald Trump

December 25th, 2015 6:52 PM
As Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) gradually fades among liberals after its decade-long stint atop their stack of pathologies, a newly diagnosed condition known as Completely Unhinged over Citizens United (CUCU)  is supplanting it. Even though BDS is unlikely to wholly depart from the liberal psyche, which appears to draw sustenance from its presence despite the obvious toll on left-wingers'…

Ed Schultz: Constitution Merely a 'Piece of Paper', 'Totally Outdated'

December 7th, 2015 9:05 PM
Got a soft spot for the oldest written constitution in the world, the one for which every president upon taking office must swear an oath to preserve, protect and defend? Then you're clearly a "jackass" according to Ed Schultz, who joins a long sordid list of lefties who can't hide their contempt for the founding charter that George Washington once described as "a guide which I will never…

House Dem: Regardless of Cause, GOP Will Get Blamed for Shutdown

December 3rd, 2015 6:24 PM
A government shutdown over federal funding for Syrian refugees and Planned Parenthood is unlikely, albeit slightly, Congressman John Yarmuth assured Ed Schultz. But if this occurs, Yarmuth added, Republicans will get blamed for it -- regardless of whether they are actually responsible. And Yarmuth apparently doesn't have a problem with this bizarre, cynical scenario, nor does Schultz.

Ed Schultz Blames GOP 'Rhetoric' for Planned Parenthood Murders

December 1st, 2015 7:53 PM
Ed Schultz condemning others for "hateful rhetoric" -- hypocrisy doesn't get more sublime than that. Schultz, you probably remember, vilified Laura Ingraham as a "right-wing slut" on his radio show in 2011, resulting in a two-week suspension from MSNBC.  His take on GOP opposition to Obamacare? "They want to see you dead! They'd rather make money off your dead corpse!"

Young Turks' Cenk Uygur: Ted Cruz is 'Dangerous' Demagogue, 'A Maniac'

November 17th, 2015 7:48 PM
The Republican feared most by liberals? The one described with the most overwrought hyperbole. Yes, some things never change. According to ex-MSNBC pundit Cenk Uygur (pronounced Jenk U-gur), that Republican is none other than Senator Ted Cruz of Texas. Should he learn this, Cruz will presumably take it as a badge of honor.

Boston Globe's Pierce: 'Half the Country Sinks' While GOP Denies Globa

May 17th, 2011 4:12 PM
"Today on the program, we'll ask whether Americans are losing the skills of true debate and with it a central pillar of this democracy," BBC's Jonny Dymond informed listeners of the May 15 "Americana" podcast. Yet when it came to Dymond's guests, there was no dissent from the liberal line.  Take guest  Charles Pierce, a Boston Globe columnist and author of "Idiot America: How Stupidity…

NPR Publicizes Apology of Sarah Spitz for Limbaugh Death Wishes, Insis

July 21st, 2010 4:23 PM
NPR's blog The Two-Way is running the apology of public-radio producer Sarah Spitz, who claimed to her fellow liberals on JournoList she would "Laugh loudly like a maniac and watch his eyes bug out" if Rush Limbaugh were dying in front of her. But they also wanted to insist that her ties with NPR were few: In fact, Spitz has never been an NPR employee. For many years, she has worked for KCRW, a…

Still at It: David Frum Takes Shot at the Club for Growth

June 13th, 2010 2:29 PM
It's called "Left, Right and Center," which claims to be a "civilized yet provocative antidote to the screaming talking heads that dominate political debate." But there's not a whole lot of truth in advertising for KCRW Santa Monica's radio program, which is also podcasted on the Internet. The show normally features Robert Scheer, editor of the left-wing investigative Web site Truthdig.com and a…

Former NBA Star/Sports Show Host: Why Doesn't 'White America' Love Oba

September 25th, 2009 4:10 PM
You may have never thought you could get this political insight from a sports commentator, but former NBA Detroit Pistons star-turned-host of "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" on Fox Sports Network John Salley has defied expectations. Salley recently appeared on September 23 edition of "The Adam Carolla" podcast and asked Carolla a very pointed and insightful question. "I have a question…
