As NewsBusters has been reporting, the media are now in a full court press to get Hillary Clinton elected president in 2016. Apart from a new biopic set to be released in the middle of the campaign season, it was announced Saturday that NBC has purchased the rights to a four-hour miniseries about the former first lady starring Diane Lane.

Jay Leno once again took some comedic swipes at the current White House resident Friday. During his NBC Tonight Show monologue, the host said, "In his speech about the economy, President Obama said we've all been distracted by phony scandals, and it's time we started getting distracted by the phony recovery."
