As the in-house ‘misinformation’ expert at NBC, Ben Collins peddles enough falsehoods to kill a fully grown African bull elephant. On Thursday when Ben took to X (formerly Twitter) to whine that some media outlets were actually covering the plagiarism scandal plaguing Harvard president Claudine Gay, commentators from across the political spectrum united to rake him over the coals.

From watching Lester Holt’s framing of NBC’s report on the mass shooting at a Prague college campus, you’d be forgiven for thinking the shooting happened in the United States, given his unwarranted insertion of domestic narrative points into the story. 

You just know that things are bad when the network evening newscasts have to actually make the time to report on the ongoing explosion at the southern border. Tonight, all three networks reported on the record detentions this week. None, however, reported on the White House's tie-in to the awful prisoner swap with the Maduro dictatorship in Venezuela.

Broadcast networks are still angry about a bill signed into law Tuesday by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, which empowers state and local law enforcement to arrest and deport illegal aliens.

For this installment of late-night group therapy for rich, white liberals, NBC’s Late Night host Seth Meyers pointlessly bloviated about how much he hates Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) as a “Handmaid’s Tale werewolf”, just one of Donald Trump’s “weird” “cavalcade of goons”, and someone who, if they were murdered, their colleagues wouldn’t seek to find his killer.

The network evening newscasts were unsure whether to hail, cover neutrally, or condemn the latest U.S. prisoner swap with an authoritarian regime. In this case, the exchange with Venezuela’s Maduro dictatorial regime, which returned his notorious bagman, Alex Saab, in exchange for fugitive “Fat Leonard” and 10 additional hostages.

Having clearly not received the memo that the time just prior to and after Christmas is usually reserved for near-endless travel and weather segments, Wednesday’s CBS Mornings led off with over seven and a half minutes on the Colorado Supreme Court kicking former President Trump off its 2024 primary ballot and featured former Obama official-turned-supposedly-objective CBS News…

The evening network newscasts delivered their breaking news reports on the Colorado Supreme Court decision disqualifying former President Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot with little substance, but plenty of emotional impact. 

NBC News went in on PragerU, depicting the conservative educational nonprofit as scary disinformers threatening to upend our nation’s noble and besieged public education system. But in order to do so, NBC News engaged in active disinformation by depicting a family of entrenched public school advocates as a regular family.

During a panel discussion regarding the impeachment inquiry against Hunter Biden, former White House Press Secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki let loose on what she (and probably her former comrades at the White House) think of Hunter’s Capitol press conference prior to blowing off his scheduled closed-door testimony: to wit, very little.

The Peacock Network is doing quite the bit of peacocking over Pope Francis’ decision to bless same-sex couples. There is no change in doctrine, but NBC cheers the change in perception and speculates that it may lead to a change in doctrine down the road.

The Acela Media are still abuzz over a controversial segment of former President Donald Trump’s remarks in Durham, New Hampshire, and two of the major evening network newscasts continued to parrot Biden campaign talking points in a scramble to turn Trump into Literally Hitler.

Monday morning on the big three broadcast networks brought more regularly scheduled Trump derangement, as anchors and reporters alike worked themselves into a frenzy over comments the former President had made at a New Hampshire campaign rally.
