On Sunday, NBC News has resorted to using children in videos to deliver statements criticizing to President Trump just one month into his presidency. Opening with a young boy eager about an outsider coming to Washington to bring people together, the series, “Dear Mr. President: Letters from the American Children,” then begins throwing cheap shots by using kids.  

On Thursday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer accused Donald Trump of reversing an Obama administration school transgender policy just to appease conservative activists gathering at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference: “Or is the timing more tied to the fact that CPAC starts today? Conservatives around the country coming for a victory party and he wants to fire up that base.”

On Wednesday, NBC’s Today and CBS This Morning both hailed liberal protesters “sounding off” at congressional town hall meetings “to put the breaks on President Trump's agenda” and giving Republican lawmakers an “earful.” In 2009, the same networks warned similar public meetings were “getting out of hand” when “unruly” Tea Party demonstrators spoke out against the Obama administration.   

Authorities ordered the temporary evacuation of almost 200,000 people living near the Oroville Dam in California after spillway damage and erosion caused fear of death and devastation. Don't expect the media to fact check any sketches painting President Trump in a bad light. Reporters are too busy cheering them on. Remember when Saturday Night Live mocked President Barack Obama? Yes, it did happen. Only the sketches aimed at the first black president were so rare they became a special event, like a holiday of sorts.
