Just as they were in their Wednesday morning special reports following the release of the transcript from the July 25 call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, ABC and NBC were indignant and raging against the “unrepentant,” “untruthful” Trump following a press conference which they deemed to have been an incoherent mess.

On Wednesday, NBC’s Today show devoted over six minutes of air time to cheering longtime liberal reporter Andrea Mitchell receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the News and Documentary Emmys on Tuesday night. In a gushing montage of Mitchell’s 50-year career of biased reporting, NBC colleagues hailed her as “indefatigable” and a model of “fairness.”

All three networks broke into regular programming on Wednesday with live coverage of the release of the Ukraine phone call transcript. NBC’s Andrea Mitchell offered the most hyperbolic response, comparing Donald Trump to a gangster “godfather” making an obvious threat. Viewers tuning in to New Amsterdam to learn who died in the terrible ambulance accident from the spring finale will be shocked by the answers in the series premiere. The liberal media have begun yet another round of frenzied impeachment speculation, this time in reaction to anonymously-sourced media reports about a supposed whistleblower complaint that has not been released. But media clucking about impeachment is nothing new — in fact, their obsession with evicting Donald Trump from the White House predates his actual Presidency.

Over the span of just 26 hours on Monday and Tuesday, the network morning and evening newscasts featured mentions of impeachment a stunning 73 times while hyping the controversy over President Trump’s July phone call with the president of Ukraine.

The journalists at NBC on Tuesday pounced on Donald Trump’s speech to the United Nations, immediately branding it a backwards, “19th century,” “wrong in tone” address that caters only to the interests of America. Additionally, six of the ten minutes devoted to the live, post-speech reaction were actually focused on Ukraine and impeachment. 

The Memphis-based and blues-infused new legal drama Bluff City Law has a high-minded premise: that attorneys like Elijah and Sydney Strait are fighting to “change the world” by going after evil corporations willing to “ruin your life” to protect their profits.

While the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were busy fawning over the bitter ranting of radical climate teen Greta Thunberg at the United Nations on Monday, they completely ignored her cohorts in Washington, D.C. staging an illegal protest to shut down the city’s major traffic arteries, resulting in an all-day traffic nightmare in the nation’s capital.

On Monday, the network morning shows managed to feature some variant of the word “impeachment” a total of 17 times while reporting on President Trump’s phone call with the President of Ukraine about corruption allegations against Joe Biden’s son Hunter. In addition, ABC, NBC and CBS eagerly touted a letter from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accusing Trump of “lawlessness.”
