Before he became the disgraced Brian Williams known for making stuff up, the NBC journalist was best known for some outrageous examples of media bias. On August 5, 2005, the then-Nightly News anchor interrogated Enola Gay navigator Dutch Van Kirk about dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima: “Do you have remorse for what happened? How do you deal with that in your mind?”

On Friday, ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News showed zero restraint when it came to salacious, unverified claims in an upcoming book by former White House aide and reality TV firebrand Omarosa Manigault-Newman that President Trump used the n-word. Even though there’s already contradictions emerging, both eagerly led with and reported them anyway.

On Friday, NBC’s Today show could not find any time to cover an exclusive report from its own network showing major trouble for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. An NBC News survey found that over 50 Democratic congressional candidates have pledged to oppose Pelosi as Speaker of the House if they win a majority in November’s midterm elections.

NBC Knocks Melania Trump’s Parents Becoming U.S. Citizens

First Lady Melania Trump’s parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs took the oath to become U.S. citizens on Thursday but NBC Nightly News was not having it. The broadcast network speculated that they received special treatment in the process and possibly used chain migration, a program the President opposes, even though the process still exists and still legal.
