In the wake of Thursday's release of the Mueller Report, the liberal media were desperate to latch onto anything. Despite the fact, there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia and no open and shut case on obstruction of justice, NBC News political director Chuck Todd appeared on Nightly News and declared that both actually happened.

With the Thursday release of the Special Counsel report reiterating that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, and at least partially explaining why there was no charge on obstruction, the next concern for ABC and CBS was the status of Democratic efforts to impeach the President.

During the NBC News Special Report following the release of the Mueller report on Thursday, Nightly News anchor Lester Holt lamented “both volumes of this report likely falling with a thud for a lot of Democrats right now.” Capitol Hill correspondent Kasie Hunt agreed: “It did land with a thud, Lester, that’s right.”

During live coverage on NBC News Thursday morning, Justice Department correspondent Pete Williams made a point of saying that Attorney General William Barr’s four-page letter outlining the conclusions of the Mueller Report “tracks very closely” with the findings in the report itself.

Just minutes before William Barr conducted a press conference on the release of the Mueller Report, Chuck Todd on NBC and MSNBC complained about the “buzzwords” of Donald Trump and the Attorney General, lamenting that they have “neutered” any impact. Other journalists on the network still hoped for a “blockbuster.”

Hours before Attorney General William Barr was set hold a press conference at the Justice Department ahead of the public release of the Mueller report, all three network morning shows hyped Democratic talking points preemptively trashing the presser and accusing Barr of just doing President Trump’s “partisan bidding.” 

While many in the Democratic Party were fine defending anti-Semitic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN), on Wednesday we learned there were some that reject her and her money. On Monday, all three network morning shows recited the same nasty accusations from Democrats that President Trump was “inciting violence” against left-wing Congresswoman Ilhan Omar simply by criticizing her offensive comments downplaying the September 11th attacks.
